The Lobster Boat "Sarah Louise" Revisited, a Before and After Example

I have been going over several watercolor paintings lately to improve the color.
Here is the most recent, before and after:

Lobster Boat "Sarah Louise" Belfast Harbor 7" x 10" - Before
Lobster Boat "Sarah Louise" Belfast Harbor 7" x 10" - Before
Lobster Boat "Sarah Louise" Belfast Harbor 7" x 10" - After
Lobster Boat "Sarah Louise" Belfast Harbor 7" x 10" - After
Overall, I like the result of the "going-over".  This is a good thing because, although it is straightforward to add to a watercolor, I have not found a way to remove color after it is there and dry.  The pigments I use have a tendency to stay put, even wet, but particularly after they have thoroughly dried.
